iordAnis in Ireland & Seimus O´Kelly project
Since moving to Dublin in 2018 iordAnis has performed his music compositions and songs on guitar and piano for the Hellenic Institute of Dublin on several occasions and in different venues such as the United Arts Club and the Grand Social on which occasion he collaborated with Irish artist Dónal Lunny.
Last year he got invited to collaborate on a musical and literature project as part of a series of events commemorating the Irish writer Seamus O' kelly centenary. These events were organised by a group of Seamus O' Kelly' s enthusiasts in several venues around Dublin encompassing readers, actors and story tellers. iordAnis composed and performed two tracks on the piano singing Seamus O' Kelly poems, "The Thatcher" and the "Fisherman" which were recently performed also at the Mansion House in Dublin in the presence of the Lord Mayor as part of a lunch time shared reading of Seamus O' Kelly' s short stories.
iordAnis has recently composed a collection of 8 piano tracks for the duration of 26 minutes. This contemporary classic music album called "As The leaves fall" is a hymn to nature and the urge to protect and nurture our natural environment. The album is due to be released soon and toured in Ireland and in Greece in Autumn to celebrate the season of the falling leaves.
